Warm weather for Michiganers

The weather is warming up and everyone wants to be outside. The kids have cabin fever and it gets harder to contain them in the classrooms. Oh what to do I want to start spring cleaning and get my house in some kind of order. (yeah right) I made a to-do-list and it has shown me all that I haven't done so far this year so I am gonna do my best to start right now and clean up the mess that I have made. ( I do have a little energy in me I guess). I haven't been on facebook or my blogs for a few days don't know if its the weather or just me. So until my next post I'm off to clean and organize my house so that it may become a home.

Thank God it's Friday and the End of February

Thank God it's Friday and the End of February. This has been an eventful last couple of days for this month. Daughter popped out her ankle playin basketball. Friend's dog had unnecessary surgery (doctor sliced up her neck- to see what a lump was) the dog is only a miniture pincher (poor baby!) oh yeah also sliced up her rump same reason - and she was nutured (that's why she went to the vet). I'm gonna try to finishe cleanin the house (blah, blah, blah) and finish all the winter items for the store. Then on to the spring items, (maybe some sock, footies and bath puffs) see what I come up with and what's popular out in the world.

Time Gone By

Wow, how time has gone by. I had been working on a mohawk hat so I guess my daughter likes it can't wait to put a pic up on the blog for others to see. And I came up with a ski band. the weather was warming up  and sometimes a hat/cap is too much to wear but you  need the ears covered. The Joys of Motherhood

Haven't been on for a bit trying to do this everyday is not going to happen. Especially when you have school age children.

My youngest child had an asthma attack and had to be taken to the urgent care. so now I must devote time and attention to her. and of course my love.

So until later when I have time.

Runnin late that's my new name until I get caught up - how did I get behind on so much - have to finish the donations for the wild game dinner - have to help oldest with the online shop - but the good thing is that dinner is done - cream of broccoli soup w/roasted turkey sandwiches - they don't like they can eat cereal.

My aim is to place things on my blog on how I survive in this econmy without going broke - lol - anyone with ideals just drop me a chat/note/line.

Moaning my head on Saturday Morning

Was there a full moon on friday - as I was going to get the girls from school got a call that my middle child ,Case was at the office and that I needed to come to the school she was in a fight (blah blah blah).

 it is not the norm for her to fight in fact it was her very first fight (7th grade) can't believe she made it thus far w/o a fight - my daughter was so upset about being suspended (mandatory 5 days f/fight regardless of whose at fought-she defended herself if she didn't fight back she wouldn't have had a suspension) laws that be will discuss at later date maybe.

 anyway I called the Elem. school about my youngest, Syd, and asked if they would let her wait at the office (had problem at Middle School - I was told okay).

 I'm about 4/7 mins late gettin Syd (but hey, I called and explained the situation) My child was sent to Child care and the crazy lady wanted $35.00 (gave her a look) she then said that this would be the only time she could waive the cost (gave another look).

 then I told her that I had called the office and that my daughter should not have been sent to her (she gave me alook) so I added in my conversation that I wasn't gonna pay anyway when my daughter should not have been sent to her care program in the first place and to have a good weekend (not).

I know, I know not very christian of me, but hey I was in the moment.

So Saturday I made a list of things I want to complete sometime this month (I hope I don't start adding things to the list it's pretty long as is.)

Who said TGIF

Boy, I wanted to start a blog and now here I am. I am writing to let out steam, thoughts and whatever else I have clogged in me, that stops me from moving forward with my life. Today started out not like my previous days have started out. Youngest child (I have 3 girls, 26,12,10) woke up and let me know that we were running late. I'm in Michigan and we had our first snow. So my 12 year old took the keys to start the car to warm it up and clean the snow off of it. I went out to help her so that she wouldn't be late for school. Well the car wasn't running so I threw my purse inside and started the car. Forgot that it locked itself so when my youngest came out she says the door is locked and then my day started. The police don't come out anymore to unlock a running car unless a baby is in the car. So my day started out with a $45.00 pop-the-lock fee from a local towing company. the car ran for over 1 hour. So my day was starting out sucky 1- woke up late, 2- snow wasn't shoveled (did I forget to mention that) but everyone elses was in the complex, 3- locked myself out of my house and running car ( I did mention that I threw my purse in the car first) 4- Had to give up $45 of grocery money to pop-the-lock , 5- had to shovel my own sidewalk (ppl said sorry but they were too busy to come back out to do the walkway) Not the way I wanted to start my blogging but it's as good as any start. I have decided to move very slowly and not rush but I have learned that when you rush and move to fast you're not focus on the task at hand and crap happens.
